Riot Entertainment has signed an exclusive deal with New Line Cinema for the wireless rights to the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy. Wireless Middle-Earth (RIOT-E’s community springing from the Lord of the Rings) will be released and developed in parallel with the film launches.
The creation of Wireless Middle-Earth will take into consideration the developments in mobile technology and shifts in patterns of mobile entertainment. Wireless Middle-Earth will be the epitome of a fully realised, global and interactive mobile world.
